Windows 10- Summoning the very best!

Microsoft like all others have accepted what went wrong with windows 8 and the subsequent windows 8.1 and have elegantly combined the strengths of Windows 7 with the looks of Windows 8.

The new OS termed as Windows 10(Windows One would have been so much better, too sad it has been used earlier) has finally accepted what the users actually want and where Microsoft can’t force them to use the apps(as limited they may be). Windows 10 provides an actual practical way to enjoy apps even for desktop or non touch users. The start menu is back and completely revamped containing a grid of customized live tiles which can be re sized again to make it extremely accessible and will be the major point of app launches.

The task bar is completely changed with an added multitasking view just as in windows phone 8.1. It looks highly systematic. Microsoft has also hidden quite intuitive tricks up its sleeve such as selecting apps while snapping windows. This is a highly used feature and now with the added functionality becomes much more of use. The option to customize and add desktops was bound to come and is finally here. All these will add a lot of productivity.

As per the video posted by Microsoft Windows 10 is currently being distributed as a technical preview and is advised only to install on a backup PC as it is an elementary build and is bound to have many bugs. Users can sign up for the Windows Insider Program and download the preview at preview.windows.com. However at the time of writing this post it’s still not online.

Good Luck Microsoft, continue to amaze us!
