Bought helmet

I was searching for a cheap helmet. I went to phoenix mall and there was a shop on the first floor as total sports. They were giving some Indian brand helmets at competitive prices.

I ended up buying a helmet for Rs 700. It’s good looking aerodynamic, ventilated, and most of all it has got a tightening screw at the back which fastens it very nicely. I liked the helmet. It’s very light and comfortable. It’s made by a company called konex. I have never heard of it.

There was also another shop on - 1 floor which was giving me btwin helmet for Rs 1000 but the fit was not good and it did not have the tightening screw. Some other were good helmets but they were very costly. I also wanted to buy cycling shorts but the size was not available for me.

Ate 2 Mac aloo tikkis at Phoenix mall and rode back 13 kms.

I know it is not matching with the color scheme of the bicycle but hey its 700 rs and looks and feels better than those at flipkart amazon and snapdeal.

Anyways I have also created a strava account and exploring it. There are a lot of options in it and it’s ad free as well.

I joined many clubs at strava and also joined an active group at Facebook. One of them is organizing a race on independence day.

My body is slowly adopting to the stress. I hope to ride again in the morning if I wake up. One curious thing I learned about me is that I suck at climbs and stink like a skunk.
