First group ride & independence day ride 2015

On the morning of independence day I had my first group ride as well as the longest ride to date.

We assembled at giant cycle store. I had to ride from Amanora to Giant straight at 4:30 in the morning. I packed a maza bottle and 3 34g dairy milks.

We had people from various backgrounds. There was a gentleman riding a 2.5 lacs Giant road bike. There was another from UK riding a mtb. It was a lot of fun. We stopped frequently to regroup for those left behind. The way to was a climb and was hard on me. We stopped at a vada shop and ate. Meanwhile a very experienced senior gentlemen adjusted my saddle angle and I felt a lot relief.

We came back from the ghat route as it was quite scenic but also dangerous as there were no barricades, both ways traffic and also the road was pathetic. There were a lot of potholes filed with rain water. My bike was skidding on hard braking.

I came back totally exhausted and took a hot shower. The feeling was wonderful. I had also got a haircut and trimmed my beard thus felt very light. Rested for an hour and then had an amazing lunch. Slept again 
